So blogging is something I'd been thinking about a while...finally I gave it a shot a couple of months back - it didn't really take off, so here I am - trying it again!
I've been itching to tap back into some of my passions - based on my education and my professional aspirations - race relations, bringing people together, unity/awareness/acceptance...was hoping I could pin point a particular topic today and write up a storm on it.
Unfortunately I'm hitting a blank wall. I think I'm still reeling from not working the last couple of months, being in India for a month & a half, getting married, having my Reception in T.O., and now "all of a sudden" in Dallas, beginning to settle in...trying to figure out a routine, Lol...
I figure this is a good time to start blogging, whilst I still have a little more time on my hands - before I start working again...
It's strange trying to find your "footing" you know...I don't exactly feel 'upset' per se being away from home - maybe it's still sinking in - yet...in fact, I don't know what I feel. The first week's past by nicely. We're into the second, since I came down to Dallas, after the Reception. I have my productive days, keeping busy around the house, and then there's days being completely lazy on the couch, all day long...My stomach's in knots today...I can't explain it...* sigh *
Let me see if I can get myself up and cleaning a little bit now... ; ) Please feel free to share your thoughts! Hope I have something more fruitful for you to read, and respond to, next time I post! ; )
